Wallpaper in my childhood meant those terrible "borders", and sometimes those extra terrible, peeling tiny flowers in neat vertical lines. Bad. But I have since learned that wallpaper (especially the expensive kind), can be b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l !! What I wouldn't give to own a little home where I could put wallpaper on accent walls.
